The ANTIAGING EXPERTS INTERNATIONAL is a collaborative initiative started By Dr Amezcua, an Internal Medicine and Endocrinologist, 3 times board recertified physician, trained at National Medical Center IMSS in Mexico, Diabetes Research Institute in Miami, FL and as a Research Trainee in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition at Mayo clinic in Rochester MN, USA. 

As a kid he was influenced by anatomy books and by watching medical practice in patients from his homeopathic doctor grandfather, as well as his father who was a very supportive orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist. He is therefore, the third of a generation of highly devoted doctors. Since his earliest days in the medical career, Dr. Amezcua showed special interest to find the reasons, clues and answers to problems from a molecular basis, and bring them into his daily medical practice. He is described as a keen mind, willing to discover the mysteries inside the human body’s “universe”. Not only by doing research, but also by questioning the whys of basically everything in medicine to improve his patients’ well-being. 

Dr. Amezcua has been amazed by the body’s way of repairing itself, and maintaining a healthy state by incorporating measures, habits, a correct nutrition, and avoiding specific environmental factors that ultimately result in an extended life, with improved quality and while delaying aging. 

His medical practice at the office, hospitalization ward, preoperative assessments, intensive care units and emergency rooms puts him in contact with thousands of patients with a wide variety of races, ages, and backgrounds. He considers himself fortunate to be able to explore, through internal medicine and endocrinology the excitement of “watching life in a first-row sit”, as Dr. Jinich once told him personally.
